Meet Rotana, your next music obsession.

Sounds like: A mix of Nelly Furtado,  Fiona Apple, Lana Del Rey

Quick Facts:  Rotana hails from Saudi Arabia and in 2013, moved to Los Angeles to get her Master's degree at USC. She's now breaking down boundaries with her vocals and is unapologetically taking names.

Recent Hype: She just released her single, "The Cure" (above) on 3/24 and from what we heard at her 3/22 Hotel Cafe show in LA, she's got a lot of other gems to come.

Her song, "Daddy," (below) also came out last month and has been gaining traction (don't let the title mislead you -- it's actually about standing up to "anybody that requires you to dilute yourself to make them feel more comfortable" and "the voice in your head that tells you you can't.")

We have a strong feeling we'll be hearing much more from our new favorite Saudi songstress.
