SOON TO SHINE || Donna Missal
Donna Missal is as real and raw as it gets.
Sounds Like:
Quick Facts: Donna is a native of New Jersey. Her father was a writer, singer, drummer and producer, and his mother was a songwriter in the 1940s.
While her name might sound new to some, she's been featured on tracks from major artist, like Macklemore's "Over It," and "Glorious," and Rudimental's "No Fear."
She's also cowritten songs for Leon Bridges ("Bet Ain't Worth The Hand"), and "Power," for the Netflix series, The Get Down.
Recent Hype: This past April, Donna was signed to Harvest Records, which will release her full-length debut album later this year.
She recently sold out her first headlining show in Los Angeles at The Hi Hat, and her song, "Girl," has quickly been picking up steam on streaming platforms. Beats 1's Zane Lowe even premiered the track as his World Record on his May 25th show.
Donna's voice is insane, and if you ever get a chance to see her live, don't hesitate for even a second.
