KESHA - "PRAYING"

It's been four years since Kesha released a track on her own and the wait was well worth it. We've loved Kesha from her dollar sign and glitter days and have stood with her during her legal troubles. Her album, Cannibal, is easily one of our favorite pop albums released in the past 10 years.

Today, Kesha made her triumphant comeback with her new song (and music video), "Praying," and it's an emotional ode to the struggles she so publicly went through. In the single, she thanks the person who caused her pain (presumably, Dr. Luke),  for making her stronger. She belts out hope that they will seek redemption.

She sings of self-pride and reflects on how much she's overcome. Her chill-inducing vocals share hope for the future -- something she might've lost sight of during the past few years.  In Lemonade-esque fashion, Kesha opens up the music video with introspective spoken lines like, "God give me a sign or I have to give up" and "What is the lesson? What is the point?"

These are the best vocals we've heard from her and "Praying" could easily become the most monumental song of her career.

"Praying" to Kesha is what "Skyscraper" is to Demi Lovato.

The best is clearly yet to come for her, and we can't wait.
